Users Report Missing Pagination Bar in Google Search

Some Google searchers are complaining that the traditional pagination bar at the bottom of the results page has vanished, making it impossible for them to view the second page of search results.

on the last several days, there have been more and more complaints about this problem on social media sites like X and on the Google Web Search Forums. It’s unclear if this is a bug or a deliberate Google test.

A screenshot of the missing pagination bar was submitted by a reader. There isn’t another navigation option accessible, according to some users.

Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other browsers seem to be affected by this problem, indicating that it is not browser-specific. Furthermore, according to some sources, the issue might not be restricted to any one device or browser, but rather to certain Google accounts.

A comparable problem was last reported in 2010 and was determined to be a bug. The chance exists, though, that recently Google’s core algorithm test of a new pagination button may not have gone as expected.
