Google Search Console API to Provide 24-Hour Hourly Data Viewing

Google Search Console’s API will soon enable a new 24-hour hourly data view, giving users access not only to the last 24 hours, but also the last 8 days’ data on an hourly basis.

This new feature is an extension of the 24-hour view that was introduced to the Search Console performance report back in December. Though users could export this data almost immediately after release, API access was not available yet.

Daniel Waisberg, speaking at the Google Search Central Live event, confirmed the update. With this change, you’ll be able to integrate the hourly data into your own tools, with the added flexibility of going back up to 8 days. Expect third-party SEO tools to soon update their features to include this hourly data as well.
